Installation Process of Artificial Grass
Artificial turf is made of synthetic fiber that looks like a natural grass. It is most often used in the commercial areas (Playgrounds, office) as well as in the residential areas. Artificial Grass is a sustainable and efficient way to make a garden permanently green. It is easy to install our self. There are few steps to install.
Features of Artificial Grass:-
- Clean all obstacles, existing grass, sprinkler and other plants from the garden, otherwise it creates uneven surface. Also Remove Electronic wire if possible
- Compact the base material with roller
- Leave it for two or three days
- In between plan your drainage requirements and install properly, so that water is easily drained out after the rain
- Install border over the garden if there is no concrete outline.
- Add base material like gravel and silica sand up to 3-4 inch. The base material should be spread evenly.
- Use the landscaping rake to smooth out the base material and sprinkle the water over it
- Roll out the artificial grass over the surface of gravel
- Cut off the extra artificial grass mat if necessary
- Spread the silica sand over the artificial grass. It supports the long blades of grass
- Pin the nail around the perimeter
